2010 Records

Stiff competition and great conditions at the Midwest Regional Championships contributed the setting of nine new Regional Tournament records. Three of the performances also eclipsed Midwest Skier (all record tournament) records and two also became Midwest Tournament ( class C or higher) records. The new records are as follows:

• Nate Smith Open Men Slalom 5@ 58k – 10.75m
• Scott Tynan Men III Slalom 5.5@55k – 10.75m
• Richard Lambert Men VI Slalom 3.5@55k – 11.25m
• Jerry Hosner Men VIII Slalom 2.5@49k – 11.25m (tie)
• Philippa Shedd Women IV Slalom 1.5@55k – 11.25m
• Janet Piercy Women VII Slalom 1.5@ 49k – 13m
• Adam Reed Men I Tricks 7330 points
• Libby Van Treese Women IV Tricks 4030 points
• Janet Piercy Women VII Jump 33 feet

Janet Piercy’s Jump record was also a record in both other record categories.

Janet Piercy’s Slalom record was also a record in the Midwest Skier category.

Adam Reed’s trick record was also a Record in the Midwest Skier category.

• Elizabeth Montavon G3 Tricks 5620 points
• Kelly Zoelner W2 Jump 138 feet
• Wilma Nock W9 Tricks 480 points.
• Janice Prociw W9 Jump 53 feet

2011 Midwest Council Meeting heads to Florida

The mid winter meeting will be held in Polk City, FL January 27th, 2011 at 8am. Location TBD
